Experiment 3. Chemical Reactions.

Reaction 1. Use glass rod to mix lead nitrate Pb(NO₃)₃ with potassium iodide KI

Reaction 2. Before you put magnesium, heat empty crucible&lid strongly, in a HOOD. Using tongs remove lid and heat crucible more. Do not put hot objects on white surface.

Reaction 3. Dehydration of Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate. Do NOT heat strongly. Product may decompose.
